Having graduated from NIFT in 2001, Shilpa Madaan worked in the fashion & handloom industry to acquire knowledge for more than a decade while working with Delhi Crafts Council, Manish Arora, Rene Dehry(France) & W by TCNS. Having gained from the best of Indian & western fashion, she decided to launch her own label of handcrafted, contemporary womenswear apparel. She is the founder, creative & business head of SM Apparel Sutra & runs a womenswear label by her name SHILPA MADAAN, having its operations in Delhi, India.
